Shake it!

Noah has gotten much more adept at controlling his fingers and wrists -- he can see a toy, pick it up, and shake it! A favorite is a rattle my granddad sent me years ago, I think from somewhere in Africa (although it could be Mexico?). Noah loves it! It's a seedpod of some kind, painted bright colors -- super light, with a baby-size handle.



He's also 'talking' a lot more these days -- bah bah bah, dah dah dah, mah mah mah, etc. It's pretty cute to watch him hold extended conversations with his fingers, the mirror, or people on the bus. He isn't crawling yet, but loves to jump, stand, and push up on his hands and knees. Not only does he love to move, the more activity going on around him, the happier he seems to be. People, noises, cars -- all fun.
