Small world

I stopped by the bike store on my ride today, to see if they could figure out why my bike computer is being so finicky. (Turns out it probably needs a new battery.) While I am waiting, I notice that the girl in front of me is wearing a black cotton skirt which looks identical to one I bought in a small store in my very small hometown. Hmm, I think, what a coincidence. They must sell that brand in other places too. Then she turns around. I know her. In fact, her aunt owns the small store in my small hometown where I bought my skirt. Not so much of a coincidence as I thought -- or at least, a different one.
